Software Engineer, Trust & Safety Tools

As a software engineer on the Trust and Safety Tools team, you’ll build tools for our Trust and Safety team to report, detect, evaluate, and act on abusive content and users. You’ll build the systems that are the foundation of all Trust and Safety work at Pinterest, providing a source-of-truth for good and bad content and bringing together the information needed to make reasonable decisions about and then to take action on content and users.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and develop highly reliable full-stack systems for content reporting, review, and processing
  • Work with world-class content safety specialists to build tools for legal compliance, trust and safety, ad quality, and brand safety
  • Innovate on our tool-set to support our international user base

What we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency in Java and/or Python
  • Exceptional ability to work anywhere in the stack
  • Experience in web frameworks or front-end programming
  • Experience working with partners to build applications that meet their needs
  • CS or applicable degree
