Country Manager, Australia

At Pinterest we are building a world-class sales team, enabling our largest and most strategic partners to best utilize Pinterest advertising products to grow their business. As the Country Manager, Australia, you'll be responsible for setting forth the overall sales strategy for the market and working closely with Sales and Ad Product leadership, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, Insights, Measurement, and Business Development teams to drive growth for our business. You'll hire and lead a sales team in Sydney as we establish our presence and build our ads business in Australia.

What you'll do :
  • Lead our sales strategy and execution for Australia at Pinterest
  • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities for Pinterest in Australia
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop a market strategy that enables premiere ad product adoption, meets partner marketing objectives, scales partner media investment, and creates meaningful and sustainable revenue growth
  • Further establish and develop relationships with industry CEOs, CMOs, and other key executive decision makers in the Australian market
  • Shape the future of our Sales organization by building, training and motivating a high performing sales team
  • Act as an external spokesperson and evangelize the Pinterest brand in Australia
What we're looking for :
  • 10+ years of experience in the digital media industry with management experience
  • Deep understanding and established network in the consumer internet market in Australia
  • Capability to work cross-functionally with global teams across partnerships, product, engineering, business development, marketing and other teams
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies
  • Strong ability to lead and mentor a team of individual contributors in order to advance team performance, health, and culture
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a start-up environment with a passion for Pinterest
