International Qualitative UX Researcher

We’re looking for a Qualitative UX Researcher who has worked on and is passionate about building digital products for global audiences. This is our first research role outside San Francisco! If you’re a dedicated researcher who can design, execute, and communicate research in a global environment, this might be the perfect role for you!

What you’ll do :
  • Proactively and in partnership with core global stakeholders identify, prioritize and conduct research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe and methodology  
  • Generate insights to both evaluate product designs and fuel innovation
  • Evaluate learnings and shape recommendations in context with other datastreams including business needs, experiment results and behavioral data
  • Communicate and share research insights in creative and compelling ways (spanning both in-person and remote communication channels)
  • Collaborate as a strategic partner on multidisciplinary stakeholder teams and with other Researchers both in local European offices and at HQ, often across time zones
  • Over time, stitch together multiple research efforts to develop a strategic point of view about our product market fit locally and regionally across Europe
What we're looking for :
  • An experienced qualitative researcher with a deep toolkit and breadth of experience conducting qualitative research across multiple countries and even continents
  • Desire to work transparently and “bring the stakeholders and team members” along the research journey
  • Experience partnering with international agencies, sourcing recruitment, and working with moderators and translators
  • Ability to become a local advocate in any cultural context, and represent both end-users and their respective cultural contexts to drive empathy and agency across the company
  • 4+ years of product development research experience
  • Fluency (comfortable moderating) in at least one language other than English, ideally French, Spanish or German
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time throughout Europe and also to the US and beyond as need be
