Android Engineer, Creative Tools

We’re looking for an experienced Android engineer to join the Creative Tools team in our Content Partner Experience organization. Our cross-platform team improves content creation on Pinterest and enables partner teams to add new and exciting formats to the service. You’ll work closely with engineers and product groups and designers across the company to craft the way millions of people create new content and expose it on the platform.

What you’ll do :
  • Contribute and implement new features for the Creative Tools team
  • Write clean, maintainable code while rapidly iterating and shipping
  • Work with our world class creative team to craft and execute pixel perfect designs
  • Improve the stability and performance of the Android app by profiling and analyzing crash logs
  • Apply your knowledge of software engineering fundamentals to constantly evolve real-world challenges on a daily basis
What we’re looking for :
  • 4 or more years of industry Android application development experience (Java, Kotlin)
  • Experience shipping apps from start to finish
  • Holistic knowledge and passion for the Android platform
  • Enthusiasm for collaborating with a diverse array of partners, including product managers and engineers across a variety of platforms
