Qualitative UX Researcher (Contract)

San Francisco

We’re looking for a resourceful qualitative researcher who has worked on digital experiences and specializes in actionable insights about products for Businesses. The ideal candidate is a dedicated researcher who can design, execute, and communicate strategic research on a deadline in a fast paced development process. This is a 12 month contract position. 

What you’ll do :
  • Conduct research that varies in approach, scale, scope, timeframe and methodologies (may include ethnographic, interview, participatory workshops, usability, focus groups, surveys, Market Research and experiments)
  • Collaborate with Sales, Partner Product, Eng, and Design teams 
  • Proactively communicate and share your research findings with team members, executives, and other audiences
  • Help shape the Partner experience ranging from sign-up to tools for advertisers
  • Lead research projects from beginning to end (including ideation, brainstorming, prototyping, feedback cycles and launching products)
  • Be a strategic partner on a multidisciplinary team including Design, Engineering, Writing, Marketing, Partner Analytics, and PMs
What we’re looking for :
  • Degree related to user experience research
  • Three or more years experience researching business products as part of a consumer facing product or service (i.e.
  • Business onboarding, ad buying interface, analytics platform)
  • Deep expertise in conducting research with businesses that vary in vertical, size, and ad spend
  • Experience leading research end-to-end and recruiting niche audiences
  • Experience working on a business product team for a hyper-growth product/service
  • Ability and willingness to travel 30% of the time
