Social Media Lead, Pinner & Business

We’re looking for a social media leader that loves to build and nurture communities, resulting in brand loyalty and business impact. As part of the Marketing team, the Social Marketing Lead will set and execute strategies to inspire and educate our community of Pinners and Businesses with stories that breakthrough creative experiences that leaves Pinners feeling supported and heard. This leader will also manage the day-to-day execution of our social efforts—from brainstorming story ideas and writing social copy to engaging our community and tracking KPIs. You'll manage a small team excited to raise the bar for strategic approach, creative development and execution within the social media space.

What you’ll do :
  • Own the social media strategy across all channels for Pinners and Businesses
  • Lead all program execution, including day-to-day content sourcing and creation as well as post-campaign analysis
  • Manage the personality and voice for all channels, including writing social copy for direct communication with Pinners and Businesses, engaging in conversation to drive business goals and build advocacy
  • Develop and drive process including planning, calendaring, creative development, publishing, moderation, reporting and readouts
What we’re looking for :
  • 7+ years experience in social marketing building and engaging an audience via social on behalf of a large brand (+1M followers)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create high-quality copy in a short time frame, for a brand with a strong editorial voice
  • Data-driven and analytical thinker, constantly mining for insights to drive the business and improve Pinner and Business experiences  
  • Collaborative, team-oriented spirit with a history of successful cross-functional relationships to deliver results across teams (PR, marketing, product, IR, etc.)
