Performance Marketing Writer

San Francisco

As Pinterest’s star Performance Marketing Writer on the Brand Creative team, you’ll work hand-in-hand with the Digital Marketing Designer to create digital ads that are both on-brand and dazzlingly effective. #LI-LK1

What you’ll do :
  • Create ads that run across Pinterest’s app and social channels that show the value of Pinterest to both consumers and businesses, and inspire them to come (or come back!) to Pinterest
  • Transform product and marketing messaging into smart, pithy copy that consistently hits our goals—and then blows right past them
  • Work closely with our performance marketing and media buying teams to learn what works, and what doesn’t, then adjust your strategies accordingly
  • Iterate on the go, and incorporate feedback like whoa
 What we’re looking for :
  • 5+ years writing experience, including experience writing ads (think performance marketing, paid social posts, banner ads)
  • Marrow-deep understanding of Pinterest’s voice, audiences and value proposition
  • Ability to zoom in and out with ease, understanding how each piece of content you create  fits into the bigger story
  • Speedy, adaptive work style that thrives in the cheetah-fast startup world
  • Healthy competitive streak that keeps you inspired to push the team to beat your previous record
