Events Specialist (contract)

We’re looking for an Event Specialist to lead and execute intimate and large scale events for Recruiting. We want your help in creating events that the Pinterest brand is known for. You’ll sit within a small team with plenty of opportunity for growth and cross-functional partnership. If you’re meticulous about event details, love being creative and have the desire to contribute to our company's fast-growing culture, then this role is a great fit.

What you’ll do :
  • Lead the planning and executing of recruiting events by partnering cross-functionally to create a thoughtful and unforgettable experience that stays true to our employer brand
  • Create and own planning materials, event recaps, suite of templates for external events and provide guidance for team members planning events
  • Provide production support for events by sourcing event supplies, working with vendors, keeping inventory and assisting in coordination
  • Other duties include (but are not limited to) maintaining event swag inventory, operating events budget, assisting Talent Brand team with administrative duties as requested
What we’re looking for :
  • 2-5 years of event management experience
  • Excellent project and event management, meeting deadlines, and efficient time management
  • Resourcefulness and creativity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is detail-oriented, with an eye for quality
