Product Analyst, Discovery

We’re looking for a product analyst to help us connect Pinners to actionable content that improves the Pinner experience. You’ll apply quantitative analysis, modeling and data mining and work cross-functionally with engineering and product partners to influence key product roadmap, identify actionable product opportunities, and drive product efforts to improve key Discovery Product features like Homefeed, Search guides, and Visual search.

What you’ll do :
  • Perform deep dive analyses to understand and influence our Discovery product roadmap
  • Design core metrics that serve as the North Stars for team efforts and model tradeoffs across product areas
  • Apply statistics, modeling and ML to identify long term opportunities in Discovery areas, including Homefeed, Search, and Related Pins
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design data products and rapidly iterate with A/B experiments
What we’re looking for :
  • Over 2 years of industry experience with proven ability to apply scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data
  • Expert in at least one scripting language(Python/R)
  • Proficient in SQL/Hive
  • Proven ability to apply scientific methods to solve real-world problems
  • Excellent communication skills with share findings with technical and non-technical partners
  • Ability to lead initiatives across multiple product areas and influence key decisions
