Lead, Event Marketing

We’re looking for an event marketing lead to inspire and educate our business audiences in our top European markets. You'll develop events and experiences which will drive comprehension of Pinterest, deepen brand love, and develop advocacy of Pinterest as a marketing platform. We’re looking for someone who knows how to develop an event from concept to execution. You’ll work with a cross-functional team both in Europe and the US to be successful in this role. You’ll be a doer, thinker, and innovator, and you’ll play a critical role in driving revenue growth in Europe.

What you'll do :
  • Develop, lead, and execute events and experiential marketing programs for business audiences in Europe
  • Collaborate closely with XFN partners including Country Managers, Director of Marketing for Europe, and Global Head of Experiential Marketing
  • Develop and manage all budgets for event programs
  • RFP, onboard, and maintain a roster of agency partners to produce events in Europe
  • Prioritize requests and execute upon those that deliver the most impact
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan for 2020
  • Develop and implement measurement protocols to track the impact of all events
What we're looking for :
  • 7-10+ years of event marketing experience within media or technology companies
  • Experience managing agencies
  • General understanding of the tech and media landscape
  • Strong communicator and ability to work across multiple cross-functional teams and time zones
  • Experience developing events and experiential marketing programs
  • Ability to travel for up to 40-50% of the time and be on-site to execute programs across Europe
  • Able to lift 10 kg
