Organizational Design and Effectiveness Lead

Pinterest brings millions of people the inspiration to create a life they love for everything; whether that be tonight’s dinner, next summer’s vacation, or a dream house down the road. We're looking for an Organizational Design and Effectiveness Leader to join our People Team. In this role, you will lead critical organizational effectiveness strategies for Pinterest as we grow and scale. You will be the first role with this focus for our company, responsible for the design and build of the work within our Talent organization. You will work directly with Leads within the People Team and across the company to drive critical work streams impacting the shape, size, and organization of Pinterest. You are an amazing problem solver, focused on all the important details yet find excitement in the agility and creativity required to lead within a high growth organization. This role will have direct report(s) in the future and you will help us shape the growth of the team.

What You’ll Do :
  • Provide project management on the Talent organization priorities and commitments - ensuring we hit deliverables, measure impact and learn from the experience
  • Manage key work streams related to the design, scale, and sustainment of a growing organization. Includes but not limited to: Consult on the roles, processes and organizational structures for the company, Understand where we have operational gaps and advise on how best to solve, Lead development of organizational change playbook in partnership with HRBPs, Study Pinterest workflow and advise on major organizational changes, Understand Pinterest cultural behaviors (ie decision making) and support the organization on solving for greater efficiency and effectiveness, Partner on workforce planning efforts such as remote work and site strategies
  • Lead the growth of a Change Management capability throughout the organization through creative and effective and strategies
  • Lead the design and support of key organizational team-based initiatives and programs
  • Support research and design of organizational health initiatives such as the impact of performance management practices
What We’re Looking For :
  • 10-15 years of experience 
  • Ability to apply a framework and structure when things get messy to provide clarity and thoughtful execution, knows the right balance between when to go and when to get organized/aligned first
  • Understands how to navigate a strong company culture, organizationally agile, partner and influence up, down and across. Viewed as a team player - can be both consultative and advisory
  • Critical thinker with excellent decision quality, proven SME in the space of organizational design and talent strategy
  • Experienced in working at the group level leader in fast-paced, high growth, global environment
  • Excellent communication, project management & relationship skills both inside and outside the organization
  • Able to move quickly and make confident decisions
  • Data-driven, analytical thinker
  • Enjoys working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience as a practitioner (HRBP or similar) with a Masters in OD/OE or specific work experience focused on OD
