Marketing Manager, France

Paris

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketer to help Pinterest bring people the inspiration to create a life they love, particularly to people in France and potentially across the rest of Southern Europe as we grow! As a member of the wider Global Marketing team, and the only team member based in our Paris office, this person will develop local, and launch global, integrated marketing campaigns to drive comprehension and business growth in this important region. 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing for Europe and working closely with cross-functional teams based in Europe and globally, you’ll develop marketing priorities, execution plans, and be accountable for the success of marketing initiatives across Pinners, businesses, and creators. This is a unique opportunity to help build and grow Pinterest’s brand in Europe, at an especially exciting moment in Pinterest’s history. If you’re excited and motivated by Pinterest’s growth and love creating new solutions to old problems, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do :
  • Articulate the Pinterest narrative through various marketing channels so more Pinners and businesses understand the value of our product
  • Lead the development of unique and emotionally engaging integrated marketing campaigns, activations and creative concepts for France  
  • Build relationships with cross-functional counterparts (sales, product, agency, creative, growth, operations, PR) locally and globally to scale global marketing campaigns in France 
  • Manage and prioritize marketing budgets across marketing initiatives and markets   
  • Manage overall brand health and identify potential partnerships or opportunities in the region to further reinforce what makes Pinterest unique, relevant, and defensible
  • Shape Pinterest’s role and voice in local culture 
  • Identify and own key strategic marketing partnerships 
  • Drive revenue and enable sales teams through development of Pinterest via events
  • Provide light touch advising to sales teams across the Southern Europe region
What we’re looking for :
  • 5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, for consumers, agencies and business audiences 
  • Be willing to roll up your sleeves, be resources and help us build from the ground up
  • Experience managing and driving creative decisions and teams, including creative agencies, to develop best-in-class creative content to tell the Pinterest story 
  • Ability to analyse and track campaign results and marketing ROI to ensure the right investments are made 
  • A good team player who is proactive, reliable, with strong execution 
  • Ability to influence leadership and XFN partners across organizations and cultures
  • A creative problem solver 
  • Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills 
  • Fluency in French and English
