Tech Lead, Ads Manager

Lead the team building the next-generation Advertiser tools helping our users build some of the most engaging ads on the web. The Ads Manager team builds the tools advertisers use to connect with Pinners as they create, analyze and optimize their advertising campaigns on pinterest.com.  We have a strong team and are looking for someone with the experience necessary to provide technical leadership as the team builds a more robust and scalable product.

What you’ll do:

  • Code and lead a re-architecture of the codebase with focus on reliability, scalability, and speed
  • Develop next generation data visualization tools
  • Collaborate with product planners and designers on experiments and innovations
  • Lead and mentor a team of strong engineers
  • Quantitatively measure the customer experience and identify new opportunities

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 2+ years of technical leadership experience
  • Strong web architecture and coding skills
  • Expertise in current web frameworks (ie., React, Redux)
  • Expertise in data-driven development and web telemetry
  • Experience in advertising is preferred, but not required
