Technical Program Manager, Metrics Quality

Reliable, trustworthy and accurate data is the foundational building block that enables Teams to gain meaningful insights, inform decisions and move fast. You’ll work closely with Data Engineering, Core Product and Ads team to build systems and framework to improve data quality and reliability.

What you’ll do :
  • Investigate and analyze anomalies in business critical metrics by assessing the impact, understanding root cause, develop mitigation plans and effectively communicate to our leadership team
  • Build scalable processes to follow-up on data quality incidents and develop best practices to improve reliability and trust in critical business metrics
  • Drive confidence in Pinterest’s business critical metrics by performing regular audits, creating systems, tools and processes that improve data quality
  • Define and own end-to-end metrics certification process from logging to consumption.
  • Become a go-to expert on metrics quality by providing senior leadership visibility into metrics and logging quality
  • Partner with stakeholders and effectively execute all aspects of the program management lifecycle, from roadmaps to delivery
What we’re looking for :
  • BS in a technical discipline or equivalent experience of 5+ years working as a engineering manager, product analyst, data scientist, or program manager.
  • Analytical mindset to investigate metrics anomalies using intermediate to expert query skills
  • Execution-oriented with a focus on delivery with a cross-functional team in a data-informed environment
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, organizational awareness, and ability to persuade others to accomplish program objectives while holding yourself and your team accountable
  • Strong technical architectural understanding of mobile and web products like Pinterest
