Web Infrastructure Engineer, Web Platform

The Pinterest website services hundreds of millions of users each month. The Core Platform Web team builds the tooling and infrastructure that product engineers use to build web experiences at scale. From efficient, flexible servers to maintainable frontend architecture, you will use Javascript to improve the site from the inside out.

What you’ll do :
  • Improve developer tooling for web engineers
  • Drive forward server performance and efficiency
  • Improve stability and speed of client builds
  • Create sustainable client-side architecture
What we’re looking for :
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • Deep knowledge of Javascript
  • Strong in web server architecture and efficiency
  • Experience with some of the following: Node, React, Webpack, Docker
  • Familiar with current web server frameworks (i.e. Express, Koa, Hapi)
